Peluang dan Tantangan Integrasi AI dalam Sistem Informasi Manajemen Perguruan Tinggi di Indonesia

Pesatnya kemajuan Kecerdasan Buatan (AI) menawarkan peluang strategis untuk memodernisasi Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pendidikan Tinggi (HEMIS) di Indonesia. Artikel ini menyajikan tinjauan literatur komprehensif (2020–2025) tentang integrasi AI dalam HEMIS, menyoroti potensi manfaat, tantangan, dan strategi implementasi. Studi ini didasarkan pada sistem informasi dan teori transformasi digital, menekankan peran AI dalam efisiensi organisasi dan pengambilan keputusan. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah tinjauan pustaka sistematis, analisis dan pembandingan studi yang relevan dari jurnal internasional dan nasional terkemuka, serta publikasi terindeks di SINTA. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa integrasi AI memberikan beberapa peluang utama: peningkatan efisiensi operasional melalui otomatisasi administrasi; layanan siswa adaptif melalui personalisasi dan chatbot; dukungan pengambilan keputusan strategis melalui analitik prediktif tentang kinerja, risiko putus sekolah, dan pengoptimalan penjadwalan; dan kemajuan inisiatif kampus pintar melalui konvergensi AI-IoT. Namun demikian, implementasi menghadapi tantangan yang signifikan, termasuk infrastruktur digital yang terbatas, manajemen data yang terfragmentasi, kompetensi sumber daya manusia yang tidak memadai dalam AI dan analitik, serta masalah etika dan privasi. Selain itu, kendala pendanaan dan kesenjangan peraturan menghambat adopsi di seluruh universitas Indonesia. Studi ini merekomendasikan pendekatan implementasi AI bertahap, penguatan tata kelola data, peningkatan kapasitas untuk staf akademik dan administrasi, dan kolaborasi industri-universitas. Tinjauan ini berkontribusi sebagai acuan awal bagi perguruan tinggi di Indonesia untuk merancang strategi yang efektif untuk mengadopsi AI dalam sistem informasi manajemen.Downloads
