Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

Writing Guidelines

Authors are required to carefully follow the writing guidelines below to ensure that submitted manuscripts meet the journal's formatting, structure, academic, and publication requirements.

The paper has never been published in other media and does not contain any elements of plagiarism, as evidenced by a written statement from the author that will be attached to the final paper.
The paper can be written in either Indonesian or English and must follow the provided template.
The tolerance limit for plagiarism in the paper is 20% at submission and 15% at publication. Every paper will be checked for plagiarism using Turnitin. Editors will check the paper twice: once when submitted and once after it has gone through the review process. See Plagiarism Policy .
The paper should be written on A4-sized paper with Book Antiqua, 10pt and single spacing. Please refer to the template for detailed formatting rules. The length of the paper must not exceed 15 pages. Papers exceeding this limit will be rejected.
The paper must be written using a word processor and saved in DOC or DOCX format.
The main title should be written in Tahoma, 12pt, centered, and bold. Only the first letter of the title should be capitalized, with a maximum of 15 words. The translated title should be written below the main title in Book Antiqua, 10pt, centered, bold, and with only the first letter capitalized.
The author's identity should be written as follows: the author's full name, not abbreviated, and without titles. The list of authors starts with the first author, followed by the second, third, and so on. The affiliation, city, and country of each author should be written below their name. If there are multiple authors with different affiliations, an index or Arabic numbers (1, 2, 3, etc.) should be placed after each author's name. At the bottom, the email and Orcid ID of each author must be provided. One of the authors will be designated as the corresponding author, and their details should be placed at the bottom of the title page (first page of the paper).
The abstract should be written in both Indonesian and English, not exceeding 200 words, using Arial, 8pt. The English abstract should be written first, followed by the Indonesian abstract. The abstract should summarize the paper: research objectives, methods, and results. Abbreviations and citations/references should not be used in the abstract. The abstract should be followed by keywords, with a maximum of 5 words/phrases separated by semicolons, and should not end with a period. The English abstract should use American English style.
The INTRODUCTION must include: (a) background information explaining the phenomenon to be studied with references from the latest sources (within the last 10 years); (b) relevant previous research, either conducted by the author or others, as a comparison and as the state of the art of the research; (c) an explanation of the research gap from the previous studies, the research problem, preferably focusing on a single issue, and the research objectives; and (d) concepts or theories used to address the problem in general terms without being overly detailed. All referenced sources should be listed in the bibliography. The introduction should not have sub-sections and must not exceed 20% of the total length of the manuscript. It should be written in Book Antiqua, 10pt, single-spaced.
The METHODS section describes the methods used in the study in a clear and detailed manner, including the research steps. It should account for a maximum of 10% of the manuscript length. This section should not use sub-sections. It should be written in Book Antiqua, 10pt, single-spaced.
The RESULTS AND DISCUSSION section presents the results of the research in relation to the problems addressed. The discussion may be divided into sub-sections and should account for a maximum of 65% of the manuscript length. If sub-sections are used, the sub-section titles should be numbered with Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3, etc.) and bolded. If sub-sections have child sub-sections, they should not be numbered but written in italic and bold. The results and discussion sections should be written in Book Antiqua, 10pt, single-spaced.
The CONCLUSION contains the answers to the research problems and objectives raised in the introduction. Recommendations may also be included, but they are not mandatory. The conclusion section must account for a maximum of 5% of the total length of the manuscript. It should be written in Book Antiqua, 10pt, single-spaced, in paragraph form and not numbered.
The ACKNOWLEDGMENTS section should only include thanks to parties who have helped in the preparation of the article or the execution of research through financial assistance or research grants from specific institutions. Please refrain from including acknowledgments to anyone other than those providing financial support. This section should be written in Book Antiqua, 10pt, single-spaced.
The REFERENCES should be written in Book Antiqua, 10pt, single-spaced. All sources referred to or cited in the manuscript must be listed in the bibliography. Conversely, all sources in the bibliography must be referenced in the manuscript. The bibliography must contain at least 20 sources from research results, ideas, theories, or concepts published in journals, either printed or electronic. Sources from books should not exceed 15% of the total bibliography. The references should be from publications within the last 10 years, except for classic references used for historical studies. Authors should cite at least two articles from the Journal of Management and Education. The bibliography must be written using Mendeley and follow the APA 7th edition citation style. Table, figure, and graph titles should be numbered using Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3, etc.) and written in Book Antiqua, 10pt, single-spaced. The table title should be placed at the top left of the table. The table should be formatted as in the template example using Book Antiqua, 8pt, single-spaced. The title of a figure or graph should be placed below the figure or graph and centered. Every table and figure or graph mentioned in the manuscript must be explained or referred to in the text. The source of the table and figure should follow the format in the template. Figures used in the article must be clear and not blurry. If a graph is used, screenshots are not allowed. The graph must be inserted using the chart feature in MS Word or another word processing application while maintaining Book Antiqua, 8pt.
